i don't know if this helps, but you can call some high end dealerships that offer gold packages for cars (usually lexus or cadillac) they usually have guys come in and do this to their stock chrome emblemed cars. the process is similar to electroplating and can be done on the car, and they can also do black chroming as well.

They don't do black chrome emblems on the car. Check Infiniti-Parts.com for black chrome Infiniti emblems.
