Tint Windshield?
Tint Windshield?
How many owners tint the front? It does not seem to be worth the extra charge unless it reduces glare considerably.
Regarding the rear, I should request that they do not cut out the brake light, right? Otherwise it will look odd?
Thanks for the help.

Go for it.
It reduces the sun's glare during the day and oncoming headlights at night. It also helps keep the car a little cooler.
I went with 35% on the front and have no trouble seeing at night, in the rain, etc. Just make sure to do it a lot lighter than the rest of your windows, that way it is very hard to notice.

I drove my friends civic with his tinted front windshield's and "HOLY GLARE BATMAN!!" Im not talking about the sun glare. Its the glare comming off of the dashboard. The film will give it a mirror like reflection. Just look at your door tints, you can see every reflection in the interior. Now picture that but worst.
Maybe it'll look cool and be cool but it can be dangerous and annoying after a while.

I have no issue with reflection on the inside, and have been in many other cars with even darker tint up front than mine. TLS's buddy mustve used a cheap tint on his Civic, not sure

i've got formula1 ceramic tint all around. 15% for the sides and back. the front i did 35%.. i've had no issue with the reflections at all.. if you have bad eyes i suggest you don't tint the front. but do it if you have 20/20 vision
so im guessing yall dont have to have winshield stickers for registration and emissions where yall live...i thought about doing that in texas then it required me to find a way to mount those stickers on film that the cops could see through the tint as well
i tinted the top of my gar where the green film is already stock.. Not sure if thats what you meant by refferring to the as1 line.. I did it and its pretty hard i like it alot, and it helps sometimes around 4-530 when the sun is shining around that area.
