I currently have a 2006 Coupe without the sport package so I don't have the sport bumper or the sport sides.

I'm trying to debate whether to get the 06 sport bumper or the nismo front? What are your opinions on each & which one looks better?

Also I'm trying to decide if the 06 sport sideskirts are worth it? It's about $390factory painted. I have the non-sport sides. I don't want to get aftermarket sideskirts because I want to try to keep the car clean stock looking. So either I'll stay w/ my stock non-sport sides or get the sport sides. Just trying to justify if it makes enough difference to do it.

Let me know what you guys think about both?

Steve, why don't you just pick up the OEM lip? You'll end up with about the same look as the sport bumper and you don't have to worry about painting etc.

 

I like the flush look of the 06 bumpers. Don't really like "add-on" lips.

 

I went throught this same dilemma recently. I ended up getting the 06 sport bumper over a lip for the same reasons (molded lip). But if I could have gotten the nismo bumper for cheaper (400-450 + paint) I would have went that route.

Also I'm pretty sure the nismo bumper hangs a bit lower than oem skirts (i'm not positive on that though).

 

I would say 06 sport, the nismo looks too boxy for me, especially since you aren't going for the race look with your chrome wheels. I think your sides are fine, the sport sides aren't different enough to justify the cost, if anything get the impul sides, I think they look good with the sport bumper, and look like they could have come stock

 

I am in the same predicament. I like the Nismo a tad better looks wise, but I think I am going to get the 06 sport because the killer price! (194 factory painted!)

 

WHAT?! $194 factory painted? I was quoted $190 + shipping and not factory painted. I didn't know they came factory painted... where are you getting yours from? Lemme know asap!!!

As for the impul sides, wont the sideskirts be lower than the fron bumper?

 

I like impul... but I think it may look a little off w/ OEM front, plus isn't it quite abit more expensive then the 06 sport skirts? I'm not going to get replicas.

I'm leaning towards the 06 sport front. I got quoted $247 shipped. Paint will probably cost me another $200-250.

I just figured if you are going to spend the money anyways, mine as well opt for an upgraded look. As far as the impul sides hanging too low, look at speedraver's ride, he has the impul sides with an oem lip, and it lines up perfectly and looks much better than the 06 sides. I'll eventually be going with the impul sides as well since they look so sick:

 

I like both the Nismo front and the 06 Sport.... I'm probably gonna be making that decision pretty soon too because my front bumper is almost white from all the paint chips...
