it was list price at conceptzperformance.com

the install was more than the bumper.

The good thing about the body shop, is that will guarentee the paint job of flaking bubbling or spots no hassle whatsoever!

it is foul on their part for not being able to give an exact quote.

Basically they really have no idea how much or how long to get that thing perfect!

I have this bumper and they charged me $250.00 for painting and instalation

and for the under body cut - no need - if you are handyman just raise the car with 2 towers and re locate the front screws to let the center under cover get a little more inside the lower lip of the bumper and screw it back. I said no need because mine was install without any modification in the shop, but if you do that, it will look better. Another thing, i removed the side marker lights and install a plastic strap from the hole behind the side marker to the pop screw of the fender that is exactly in the rear of the sidemarker light, so the ends of the bumper will look in the same angle of the body. If you want photos - email me. the diference is realy big doing that little trick.

accordfreak and zpeedray, what year is your G coupe?

I did do some research on the kuruma z fitment issues on the G, some fit well, some didn't fit well.

I thought yoichi got it all fix up and I assume 06 has the same front section.

I have a feeling that it didn't fit right this time because its for an 06.

Apparently my kit was hot off the press and it took 3 weeks+shipping issues to get to me.

So it could be that I have this fitting issue because its an 06.

Don't get me wrong, the bumper looks freakin awesome. I just think its too much to get this thing installed.

also if anyone who knows about the G's front wants to help me out and really want to investigate this in the houston area, we can take off the bumper and take a look at the foam they cut, reinenforment beam adjustment and the mounting bracket of the G.

They said it took about 10 hours for primer, painting, clearcoat and install.

After that, we can determine whether its the body shop who is ripping me off or the bumper had fitment issues.

However, I strongly feel that the bumper has fitment issues.

btw I'll post pics after I install a clear bra on the car.

Houston just got flooded yesterday.

installing this bumper is very easy - go for it if you have some mehcanical skills and basic tools - if not go to 3 shops and have 3 estimates find people on your area or near and get references if you want to save money.

I feel bad for you, man. I've had my Kuruma painted twice ($150 and $300) and that doesn't even come close to your total. You got ripped pretty badly. The '06 front clip is the exact same as the '03-'05. The only fitment issue I have are where the sides of the bumper bolts up to the fenders. A little sag...but that's worth me saving $300 over the price you paid. O well... it's done now, so just enjoy it and don't scrape it too much like me!
