Overlays on IP

I'm getting my overlays in a few days. Got the 6/10 tgtr06.
Having second thoughts though after seeing a few pics of it on IPs.
It just doesn't look right, where as it looks perfect on OBs.
So to those that have seen them in person,
what are your opinions of the overlays on IPs?

I personally think they look alright but not on IPs. For IP you should get smoked taillights, with some black rims as savefatkids said, otherwise don't tint it at all, IMO.

Getting 20% tint and already have silver wheels. Yeah I think its gonna clash with the color of the car. I'll put it on and see how it looks. If its bad, its goin off.

Good idea. Test it out, see how it looks and if no good then off it goes. You might as well since you already have them on order.

Another thing, I think that it could look pretty good if you have the OEM spoiler (the 03-05 one), I saw a IP coupe with blacked out tails and it looked alright with the spoiler. Saw pics of one without a spoiler and black tails and it looked kinda bad. Just a matter of taste in the end.

You can see a few pic of my gtr overlays here... just scroll down towards the bottom pics

I really liked them but I don't have them on right now since my whole back end was replaced a few months ago. I am planning on ordering another set soon. Key thing for them is to make sure they are properly installed. I have seen 2 other members that put these on and had nothing but air bubbles which made it look ricey. If you do it right, they look really sweet!
