Rear Bumper Cover Damage

Just wondering if I need more than a new bumper fascia assembly. Since the damage is on the corner I am hoping that the components under the cover are not damaged (e.g. energy absorber and/or bumper reinforcement).

That big suckerpunch dent can be removed, but your bumper will have to be re-sprayed. Dont dish out for a new bumper, this 1 can be fixed...

I'm still crying on the inside

Thanks for the advice. I guess I have to remove the bumper, heat it, and push out the dent?

Welcome G-Ride!

How much did your repair cost you? I have checked the damage and it is limited to 'just' the bumper cover. I am planning on removing and repairing it myself. I'll have it professionally painted and then I will re-install it. One shop gave me a quote of $930 for them to do everything - ouch again!

ya it's unbeliveable how much it cost to just repair the dent....it cost me about $800CND at Macco...can't remember the name...but something like that, they sure did a great job. just the difference of new paint and old paint... ya i believe if you just take the bumper to them should be cheaper.
anyways, good luck with it
