Anyone have a tinted windshield

Yes I understand this is not leagal in most states that is not what I am asking you guys. For anyone that has one does it cause your lights on automatic to be on at all times or does it still recognize that there is a difference. If you have this done what percent is it and how do you like it. The reason that I am doing this that I am sick of the glare on the nave screen and this will cut it down tremedously

I don't have auto lights, but I would imagine if you go with a light tint it should be ok. I have 55% and you can barely tell it's tinted. If it's an overcast day it does look darker from the outside. but looking out there is no real difference, it's so subtle. it did cut down on the heat and glare it's well worth it in my opinion.

i have 35 percent up front and it doesn't affect the auto lights.. if you choose to not go with the tint you can always get the anti glare for your navi on ebay.

damn ur car is mad CLEAN.. nice and sophisticated... no big mouth bumper, ugly sides that dont line up with the G's body line. big ups to you...

i would love to do that front windshield tint. that way, if i ran a red light, stupid camera wont see my face. haha. i'll just say it wasn't me he drove... but that still wouldn't work. oh wells.

nice car man.

Gorgeous car man, looking clean and simple but still luxurious, i love what you did with it, that is how i envison mine, with full smoke tailights...anyway, thats the problem IMO with most of the peepz on here, they kill the luxury of the G, get a 350Z if you're gonna go allout with the car...JMO...

I have 35% on the windshield and 20% on the rest and my auto headlights come on all the time except in direct sunlight.

We have our tinted to the legal line. On the top of your windshield is a line with an arrow. The blinking alarm light on your dash is also your headlight sensor. Next time you are sitting still somewhere, put your light switch on Auto and put your finger over the little dash light and it will turn your lights on.
And we just install our CF TS hood and Skyline grille. Will post pics after we wash it.
