CF Trunk Install

CF Trunk Install

I am planning on installing my cf trunk soon, i know taking off the factory trunk is easy, but how am i suppose to disconnect the wire that's connected to the spoiler. Some one please help.

pretty straight forward install. Just swap over the latch mechanism. I know Ahero has the Seibon trunk. I'll point him to this thread.

just un clip the wire located near the hook you'll have to un screw it then pull the wires through the hole that has a rubber gromet and your good... and when your trying to put the wires through the cf trunk us a wire coat hanger and be patient guid it through and your good

Un clip the wires from the trunk correct.

yeah post pics once its finished, you should paint your roof black considering now you will have carbon hood and trunk. I think it would look pretty clean.

I saw a non-oem style carbon fiber trunk a few days ago, does anyone know what that's called, Im having trouble finding it again. It was like a regular trunk except the center areas were dipped down in an angular shape.

Yeah its made by Mastergrade. Thats the one Im getting. I dont know how to order it though. A guy is in LA picking it up for me.

but a carbon fiber roof would be nicer i know a Z has an overlay you can get and i've seen it on a wrx anybody know if they have it for a G35
