ive seen it in person,the company that sells this hood is 5mins from my house...looks pretty good the quality is pretty decent..they actually make a differnt one which is similar to the top secert hood..which im taking delivery on tues after x-mas..

this is what scares me about aftermarker hoods...



id wouldnt even think about running and aftermarket hood without hoodpins...peace of mind at the very least...

LOL. damn you can see right through that thing. kinda reminds me of those clear hoods they use to have for the eclipses where you can see the whole engine without opening the hood.

doubtful you would get hydro-lock from the hood. You normally see it with CAI that suck the water up from deep puddles or flooding not open vents. The engine itself would probably evaporate most of the moisture just from the heat. But I agree, not feeling it, it doesn't really flow with the lines.
