Has anyone dared to try this one?? They have 100% positive feedback. My only major concern is the silicon glue.

You don't have to use silicon glue. The authentic ings spoiler uses double sided tape but its up to you how well you want the spoiler to be secured on the trunk.

i'd rather buy the ings replica spoiler from klumzyee. i already have his impul replica sideskirts which fit great. plus he is local to me so if i have problems i can just give him a shout anytime

besides, he offers it in cf if anyone is interested

i received the spoiler about a week and a half ago, but have yet to install it. i have been waiting for the adhesion promoter that the instructions recommended (which was VERY difficult to find). it would have been nice if they included it with the product.

anyway, upon inspection, i test fit it and it fits well. the most important is the color matching, which imho came out dead on! i was very pleasantly surprised. i will post pics tomorrow after i install it.

Glad to see that you liked the spoiler, I also liked how well the colors matched. I used 3M automotive tape that everyone's using, and filled the entire bottom side with it. One suggestion though, have someone with steady hands help you mount it. With all that tape on the spoiler you won't have a second chance, so take your time. Good luck with the install.

I think you should have installed it a little further back, so the angle lines up with the edge of the trunk, like the way it is installed on the spoilerdepot picture, so it slightly overlaps the tailights
