why does everyone care about the water?

you get water on it, jump in the car, hit the highway and gas it to 100 mph. water will be gone, guaranteed

The purpose behind this design is for downforce. The indentation in the trunk creates an upward angle towards the rear of the trunk, which functions as a spoiler.

this is how I would have painted it.

Imagine that, with a black roof, or a CF roof overlay. And maybe with a CF hood too. imo, if its done right, it would look hot! Combine that with a kenstyle rear bumper and it would be even sexier

im sure it will collect a little bit of water, but as soon as u hit the road ull be fine. ya the asuka trunk looks just like the mastergrade one. painting the trunk white would make the indent look deeper, and it doesnt look good to me. i like it in all cf.

If done right, I still think it would look hot. As for me, I dont think it quite flows with the style I'm going for. I have a more simple and subtle look. The asuka trunk attracks too much attention from the rest of my car. Either way, I'm pretty much done with my G35. I'm going to buy a new car in a few months

Its off the 605, north of the 10. My friends first found out about them from SEMA. I'll get your more info this weekend.

What's the difference with the Mastergrade and Asuka? They both have the exact same design
