R the rear overlays legal ?? or are certain ones legal whare the bulbs show through the cut outs ????

They key is that the reflectors are still visible to the eye from a certain distance. I've never had any issues whatsoever here in Califonia where the cops are pretty darn strict! I've been sporting overlays since 2000.

here is what i did to mine, there painted. In person you can tell there darker than stock.
