Our tint shop put black vinyl on the top part of the rear window on our G35 and I35. And then did a one piece tint on the rest of the window.

i love it and keeps car nice and cold in the summer. (have it currently on 2 cars and getting on my brand new G next week)

best thing is the keeping the car nice and cold even after sitting outside all day, next best is noon can see you. (even face up to front in midday u cant see in at all) and 3rd is when your girl gets a lil ansty on the way home on a long trip.. no need to worry, even midday in a parking lot.
Nice slammed S2000 man! I used to have one until it was totalled I really miss that car.
Anyway, I have since moved over to the G35 world.
Are you familiar with BigPurp on the S2Ki boards?

And back on topic, do 20%. 35% is just too light. I've gotten it before and am just disappointed everytime.

Just curious.

For those of you who have tints already. Do you side window tints go all the way up? On mine, I can see a where the liner begins on the front edge of the side windows, its about (3 mm below the edge). I figured this was because the windows go up a little bit when you close the door.

I was wondering if I should go back to the dealer and get it redone.

Most tint shops do that. It prevents peeling the edge of your tint when it hits the weather strip.

See my whole thing is not seeing at night, but being harrased by the cops.
I had a Grand Prix GTP and I had my windows tinted 5% Limo all the way around... always got harrased by the cops, dont know if I want to do any tint on this car!

Go the lowest legal limit IMO. Still I'm so tempted to tint the windshield.

yeah, the guy is referring to the dot matrix..when my tint was fresh it had some bubbling but eventually all of it settled into the glass and it looks clean without any bubbles. My tint guy mentioned it before performing the work to set expectations, did an awesome job...no gaps at the edges.
