Clear Bra

I was wondering if anyone knows how much a clear bra usually costs to get installed. What kind of places usually do that too?

How old/new is the car? If it has excessive damage, don't bother...

+1

If your car is new, then it's probably worth considering the clear bra. You can bargain on the price of this also, I got the dealer down by almost 35%. Or just go to get it installed aftermarket.

Car is a 2003 but I just got the front end repainted. It sounds like it would be cheaper to just repaint after it got worse. Its like 300 for the hood and 300 for the bumper to get painted. Really not that bad.

i just got my clear bra done today for free...they did the front, side mirror, front lights and door handles...worth of $775...they told me its better than the common competitors out there like 3M which will only last for 2-3 years...and i was given a lifetime warranty...if you guys are interested, the website is ultratuffshield.com...

Perhaps. But when you repaint the bumper you will need to prove the car was not involved in an accident when the time comes to sell the car...

Just something to consider.

Man don't go with the dealer they will rape you with no lube dude. dealers price ranges from 600-900. Try the local tint shops if they have different kinds of clearbras. got mine done at the tint shop for 500. hope that helps you out, yes depends on the condition, new worth it old dont' bother.

its a plastic film that sticks onto your bumper/hood/whatever and protects it from rock chips... sorta like those scratch-proof clear ipod skins
