That's old, but still a cool mod. I think color matching would be nice too. Red on red, blue on blue, etc.

 

A couple of guys over on the MINI forums are doing the same thing. They're even putting them at the bottom of their doors to create a puddle light when the door is opened. To my knowledge, you have to remove the handle, drill holes for however many LED's you want back there, and wire them up. Pretty simple, but it's harder to accomplish on the MINI handles. I'll see if I can locate a kit (if I remember correctly, there is one out there...).

Wow! I would love to have that on my car! Those prices arent even that bad either. Granted i dont know what it is in USD, but still. haha...I am subscribing atleast, incase someone finds one for our car, or figures out how to do it!
