Door lighting kit~

im just wondering anyone did this mod?......and how's the installation?.....

hmm... i think i kind of like it. except for the color. maybe white would've been better.

white for sure ... but the bimmers run amber and that still looks hott too

That's old, but still a cool mod. I think color matching would be nice too. Red on red, blue on blue, etc.

A couple of guys over on the MINI forums are doing the same thing. They're even putting them at the bottom of their doors to create a puddle light when the door is opened. To my knowledge, you have to remove the handle, drill holes for however many LED's you want back there, and wire them up. Pretty simple, but it's harder to accomplish on the MINI handles. I'll see if I can locate a kit (if I remember correctly, there is one out there...).
