Re: Debadged "G35" pics.

Why debadge? It's gives the car a cleaner, sleeker look. I didn't like the way the "G35" just floated out there. If there was a symetrical emblem on the opposite side, it wouldn't look so bad. But all alone just annoyed me.

I did a couple of photoshops with debadging everything but the infinito logo. I wasn't feeling it. It might look better on other colors, but it left a bit too much emptiness on CB.

What have you guys done with your debadged emblems? I'm thinking of putting the G35 somewhere inside the car off in a corner someplace.

Re: Debadged "G35" pics.

while I was debagging I played around with the letters a little bit. I just saved the letters and put them away for now. I was going to get a Glock 35 badge, but it's ok, I'll jut leave the symbol by itself and keep it clean.

Nice and clean, but.......naked somehow. But then, I like the old 'doggy door'.
At least you don't have a bright yellow bumper sticker.

I think they've been debadging with a blow dryer and dental floss. Clean up with WD 40.

Re: Debadged "G35" pics.

All the badging on the backs of the Gs are 2 sided tape. Take some fishing line or dental floss and put it between the badging and the paint and pull very nicely. You can clean the paint with WD-40 or paint thinner. If you use paint thinner wipe the area off to get the residue off and then wax the area. Paint thinner is too watery to do any damage...but don't pour it onto the paint. Put it on a rag and wipe. This is the same substance used in Tar-Remover so don't worry.

Re: Debadged "G35" pics.

I didn't bother with all that jazz. With a hair dryer, i put it on each letter/number for 1 minute. Just pulled with my finger tips and it came right off. Then for the tape, 30 seconds, grabbed a corner and pulled right off. There was hardly any residue left. I just washed the car with zaino and it is impossible to tell there was anything there at all.

Re: Debadged "G35" pics.

Does all of your 2003.5 sedans have the two pegs behind the infiniti logo or not? Because at this last meet there was a coupe totally debadged and he diddnt have pegs.. but when i rebadged my black chrome emblems i noticed that the infiniti logo had two pegs... so if i wanted to be totally debadged i would have two little holes in my trunk

Re: Debadged "G35" pics.

Could you give me some info on your wheels? I saw a guy selling his stock rims and had pics of his G35C with Superleggera III's on ebay and I have never seen a better looking G35. But yours looks awesome too, so I'm asking for info!
