hey guys my cousin has a sports bike...he wants to paint some metal pieces with candy red paint...how is the paint applied? is the prep basically just sanding the the metallic surface(1200 grit?) and spraying candy paint..or do you need a specific type of underlying base?what he wants to do it spray the candy paint on the metal and just spray the red on top so that the metal underneath shines thru and looks like the metal was tinted red..
