350z battery covers

I'm not sure if this is a repost, but has anyone tried to fit the 350z battery cover and brake cover on the g35?

If you are looking for an additional cover, you can choose to use the Right Hand Drive battery cover to fill the void on the driver's side.

I already have the JDM right side battery cover, but i think they are to basic and look to plan. I like the looks of the 350z covers more and was wondering if they fit or not...?

If they do fit, make sure you let us know because I'll go get one too.

I need to replace my covers because of the Tein dampers I installed. Keep
us informed this sounds like a fun/needed mod. I'll probably install the dampers like they are on the Z so I won't have to cut holes in the new covers. I'll check with my buddy at Nissan and see what he has to say!
Thanks.....Gary

I asked this question before. Everyone else said they will not fit. Bummer. I like the 350z covers much better. Especially when you paint them.

yeah, +1 on that they look 1000 times better. I will try to find out! If they wont fit, then we will make them fit.

I'm very interested in this. Sux if it's not an even swap. But from the pics alone, hopefully there's not TOO much trimming, shoving invloved to get them to fit.

the question is, will it clear our hoods? notice on that z hood, there are two indentations in the hood for each cover.

That was the first thing i noticed as well. If you look at the fender walls compared to our battery covers there is still about an inch to play around with, but the hood takes up about another 1/4 of an inch. We will see...
