How hard is it to match the OEM paint in BLACK

I have a lot of rock chips on the bumper, hood, and fenders near the light and I was considering about getting those parts repainted but I'm afraid it wont match with the rest of the car. I heard some colors were really hard to color match like the white and silver but now I was wondering if I should get it done?

I had my entire driver's side fender replaced and repainted. It matched perfectly.

the difference in black that is not matched correctly can be seen in bright sunlight, or argon gas lights (street lamps). i bought a used 94 black rx7 that was advertised as never repaired or painted. as i was getting gas one night, the fender looked to be a different shade of black under the street lights (more gray thank the other body panels). i had never noticed the difference until then, but after that night, i could also see the paintwork under very bright sunlight.
