Last week my car was parked in the parking lot of the spuermarket and someone backed into it and drove away (see the pics below). I have a few questions. Am I better off buying a new pass. side fender & door and having them painted and how much would something like this cost (and also how much will it be to repair the body panels?)? Thanks for your help.

 

That's too bad Frosty. You'll probably have to get a shop to give you an estimate and the options.

 

yep new door for sure man you cant really fix that.. its cheaper to buy a door

fender.. maybe need to see in person but doubt it..

its not too expensive for a door cover and fender.. skirt you can repaint

 

+1...buy a new door, get new quarter panel or fender.. and repaint skirt..

 

I don't think it will be cheaper to get new stuff then to fix that.

Ask around, get some quotes first before you act.

It's really not that hard to fix it.

 

i'm guessing that to r&r a door is at least $1,500 if you can find a used black one in mint condition. if you order one from the dealer unpainted, you are looking at $2,250 (at least) in parts an labor. just get it fixed--$1,000 to $1,500 for both the door and fender and rocker. also, insurance will never pay to replace that door or fender.
