i'm a bit confused on what you are looking for. OEM shift **** or an aftermarked one? i'm about to purchase myself a shift ****. titanium looks good but it's quite expensive. there's a stock looking shift **** (nismo rubber). myself, i'm planning on getting the carbon fiber ****. check out the site..

When you consider the cost of aftermarket *****, the price for the OEM **** isn't that bad at all. It is a pretty nicely detailed ****. While it's not anything 'exotic' like burnished titanium, carbon-fiber wrapped or simple stainless-steel billet, it is likely the most functional **** available for the G35.

While I don't want my shift **** looking really cheap and ugly (the OEM G shift-**** is neither, IMO), I do think form should follow function, rather than the other way around, for a shift ****. I don't wear leather gloves when I drive, so the shifter should be covered in leather, alcantara or some other fabric that will provide some grip for a moist palm, and preferably look good while doing so... ...and insulate your hand from scalding heat. I also like some functional contour to to the ****, to aide in a secure grip, which most of these aftermarket alternatives simply ignore. Never have liked the straight, parking-brake handle style.

If you're ready to spend the $150-$200 to replace it, and you like the OEM **** otherwise, I think it's a perfectly good option to stick with it.
