Here is a M5 lip, when I researched it I thought it would be closer in width than it turned out, hangs over about an inch on each side, I think it looks OK though

Seems like I could add something here -- without flaming or I hope being flamed -- since I own an E46 M3, obviously wth an OE lip, and I previously owned an E36 M3 on which I stuck an ebay lip.

The ebay item was pretty cheesy. It had a lot of little imperfections I had to sand out before painting with a spray can of matching paint I also bought online. But it fit fine and looked good. The lip and paint totaled about $60.

After seeing these pics, I'm now thinking about an OE M3 lip on my G sedan, where to me it would look like an Infiniti part and not like I'm trying to make the car something it's not. The bmw part, which is very good quality, is about $110 as I remember. This time I'll have it professionally painted. The G35 deserves it.

The OE M3 lip on Vodkarocket's car looks about perfect to me, especially with the debadged trunk. Very nice.

One other note: The lip is functional on an M3, reducing lift, and I assume it does the same on a G35 sedan.

the underbody of the G is designed with diffusers, "undertray" and other elements that are indented to reduce lift... I don’t think it’s an issue that needs to be addressed – but even it were, I don’t feel this aesthetic mod would suit that purpose. This is a looks only item.

spoilerdepot.com should have something of this sort, and they will paint it for you for like 40$

Doesn't look too hot on the coupe IMO. I am looking at getting it removed, for the stock 03 Spoiler.

I think your problem is that it extends over the tail lights, remove the 2 small pieces on each side and u will have a very clean look. I am really starting to dig that look, especially with the diffuser. It looks really clean and simple.

Heres an example.

I used the M3 Like kvangil has and am very happy with it. I got it on Ebay for $60 painted to match my OB sedan perfectly and shipped. It is flexible and about 1/2 inch narrower than the trunk edge when lining it up exactly along the edge. I preferred one a little narrower than a little too wide. I'll post a pic later.
