Has anyone Had thier chrome painted body color? I guess this would only really work for a black car... here is a rough photoshop pic of what I mean. Don't mind the swirl effect, i was tripping when I made this (JK)

I think it would look nice, but need to have more to the car, other than stock. rims, body kit, lowered, or something. but that's just my opinion.

Did you think of having the chrome trim/door handles anodized black or just paint? I like the idea but mines silver-maybe have the chrome brushed?

I asked my body guy, and he said the trim is available in some kind of black metal (is that anodized black?) i think the door handles will have to be painted with the grill.

I was trying to think what to do with a silver sedan. Ive seen white maximas with the inside of the headlight housing painted mat black and it looks awsome. That would probably work with any light color.

I'm thinking about rims too, but am having trouble finding ones i like. i want to spend about $2000 for rims and tires. I think 18s will do it, I dont want to change the revolutions per minute. I do have a line on some 19s that are a mat black color. But I'm trying to decide if that would look good.

 

What about black chrome? It's not matte black tho.. ATS makes an all black 18 for cheap and it semi light weight. Try discounttire.com
