From the front i think that the 05 bumper with lip looks better than 06, but from the side the 06 looke better.

Damn... i like the 06 skirts too.

New to the G35 here...is the main difference the air intake size?

 

Yea - my car has the Impul rear and side skirts. Used to have the front bumper too, but the car was slammed then, and it got munched too often.

The 06 scallops are about 20% larger. On my car, I had them painted black, so they look even larger. Many put the overlays on instead, but the paint looks MUCH better, IMO. Technically, the 06 sport bumper, has a 'built in' chin spoiler. It's the same size as the 05 w/lip, but they brought it up in the center to relieve the scraping issue.

Eric (Kluymzyee) has the ONLY lip available for the 06's..and it looks HOT! I still can't decide if I'm getting one though...I want to lower the car again, and it'll just get mangled with a 3" total drop.

I think the 2006 Sport Bumper AND 2006 Sport Side-skirts give the G an extra look in aggresiveness & class.

Bumper is about $280-$300 from any dealer...no idea about side skirts.

IMO, 05 with OEM lip looks better than 06-07 sport. Then we have the Nismo, which IMO, is the best of the 3.

 

I think the 06 with KLUMZYEE's lip..is the best of all worlds - for fitment and quality.
