painting spoiler that's already on the car
hey guys,
i have a spoiler that's already installed on the car, but the color is a little off.
i'm looking to have it repainted, and my paint guy says that it has to be taken off first...
i'm worried that it might crack while he takes it off (if he can take it off, that is...)
so... what should i do? take it off, repaint it, then install it back? or try and paint it on the car, and risk having it peel or something?

mask off the back half the car and spray.. but its alot easyer for him and it'll look better if he can take it off. I dont see what you're scared of.. unbolt the thing.. and heat it so the glue is soft and just take it off O.o

thanks
i'm just scared because he said that the spoiler might crack while he tries to take it off... there are no bolts, though... just tape on the perimeter.
so i should take it off? it won't affect the adhesion if i take it off and install it again? (with new tape, of course) btw, if i take it off, what kind of tape do i need?
