Anybody know if the OE rear bumper comes painted? My wife's black 03 6MT coupe needs either a repaint or a new rear bumper cover. I had a black 3000GT and the front bumper covers for the '94-'96 came finished black, so I didn't even have to repaint. Anybody actually seen one new out of the box?

i think the only body part that comes painted is the front lip. looks like you are gonna have to go to a bodyshop.
Not too surprised there. Now, the question is is it cheaper to have the bumper repaired or buy a new one for $275 and have it painted?

Factory Front Bumpers do not come painted...
Accessory bumpers do like the NISMO Sedan front bumpers...
Some Side Skirts come painted...
OE rear bumpers come black urethane...
Less prepwork involved on painting a new bumper...
Painting a used bumper will probably cost extra in prep work so much that a new bumper would have been more cost affective...
