well i've had the taillight overlays through winter/summer, and many car washes in between... and no problems with it. i doubt the roof overlay will be much different, but who knows

i hope it's not too different

Outta curiosity, are there any concerns/special requirements for this once it is installed? For example, no car washes?

i just clayed my car...so i figure after the install of the vinyl give it a few days to settle down and then you could wash it etc...

The Overlay should be durable if applied correctly. Like Ryan said, let the overlay settle for a day or so to let everything settle

. I should have an approximate price later today. I gotta see how much the material is gonna set me back.

great idea these overlays should go quick...won't do me much good either though lol. if these turn out nice i'd expect a black roof would be the next common/look good mod
