2 piece. Thd Vinyl I get doesnt come wider than 24". I plan on doing the seam right along the back of the moonroof, so you only have a small seam on the sides .

Bat and I were talking about it, the cf vinyl will look pretty tacky, having the flat black or gloss will look so much better...i will post pics tomorrow after bat cuts out a layout and ill install it the same day or by sunday and have pics up for everyone by sat. sun. or mon. the latest. but yea it should look pretty BOMB

I wont have the actual kit yet Ryan. Most of my time there will be getting the template down right. I should have it ready early next week .

I think the polished look would be much better. Dont want it to look like you used flat black spray paint on the top of your nice car

Hmmmm...

This would be interesting. I'd be interested in it as well, but I'm curious as to accomodations for those who have sat radio, for those who don't, those who have sunroofs, and those who don't.

I guess if you're going to do it in 2 pieces and you're going to split it after the sunroof, then you can piece together different combinations and avoid having too many different templates.

Like having a front piece in 2 templates. One for "with" and one for "without" sunroof. Then you have the rear piece in 2 templates. One with the sat antenna, and one without.

But then again, there are different styles of sat radio antennas. Like the 06+ with small antenna and 05- with large antennas. Maybe you can just have the customer cut the antenna part themselves. It's a small enough piece for a diy.

I'm down. Gloss black. No CF for me, or flat black.

Matte black is pretty much out of the questions, I dont want it to look primed . CF in this big an area would just look too tacky imo, plus it wouldnt be cost effective for me. I made the kit yesterday and refined everything today. I should have the first kit cut for Ryan Monday or Tuesday. If I'm happy with fitment, I can have this available as early as late next week .

As far as cost goes, I'm not sure yet. These will need to be shipped in a large mailing tube, gotta see cost of vinyl...I'm actually thinking of doing ths for my NSX.

It will be available for moonroof equipped and non moonroof equipped Coupes. As far as those with satellite radio antennas, I'm going to have to look into it further.

This could be interesting!

I am also very interested in pics and will be subscribing to this thread.

Outta curiosity, are there any concerns/special requirements for this once it is installed? For example, no car washes?
