Don't know if this will help or not. When I put in my '07 projectors I had an issue attaching the bumper cover on the left side. As I remember it attaches with two bolts, one near the front of the car, that goes in at an angle, and one back near the wheel opening that goes in straight vertical. The front one was OK, but I could not get the rear one to tighten up. The bolt went in from the underside of the bumper into a plastic nut mount attached to the fender. My solution was to take a longer bolt, push it through the plastic mount and attach a metal nut on top of the plastic piece. I then tightened up the new bolt, and it pulled the bumper up snug to the fender.

thanks alot

thats exactly what happened with my car, but the plastic nut by the fender which the bumper screws into is broken, it will screw in but not all the way. I'm gonna give the nut and bolt trick a shot. thanks alot if you find out what part that is let me know. thanks again.

When you do this and tighten down the metal nut, it pretty much destroys the plastic nut mount. Why they put plastic there I have no idea

yeah you know how they make cars now adays they put these crappy parts on them. The plastic piece is shot anyway so it shouldn't matter. thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna try the bolt this weekend.
