Black G35 Emblems? (first post and a quick pic)

Hey all-

New G35 owner and a first post here.

My wife and I just picked up an 03 Coupe, 6MT. Only has 36k miles on it.
Pretty much all stock except a Nismo intake. Its a far cry from my 66 Mustang Fastback, but we're lovin' it!

At any rate, I have a hard time leaving things stock, but I tend to lean towards subtle...I saw a G with black (factory looking I guess) emblems.

I've scowered the web checking online retailers and eBay but I've yet to find any replacement emblems save the 'Skyline' stuff.

Can these be had from the dealer or is there a resource I've missed?

The badges I saw:

Welcome!

You can order them (or gold ones) from infiniti/nissan for a *lot* of money.....but most people just take them off and do the painting them self

Thanks for the welcome, the quick reply, and the info!

I was afraid that was going to be the answer.

Self painting might be a neat option.

Being a total rookie with this new car stuff...how are they attached (and removed for that matter). A light epoxy?

EDIT: I'll do some forum searching.

Simple floss and goo gone will remove the emblems. Not sure what ppl use to reapply it, but double sided 3m tape is a possiblity

Just did some forum searching...the subject seems to have been posted ad nauseum. Sorry 'bout that.

Whoa, wait a tic.

I'm diging the blacked out front grill too. Stock, but toned down.

Did you have that done too?

I'm liking the dark logos. Even removed logos in various combinations of removal is cool too...but black...ya.

thanks for the comments............the black chrome emblems are from infiniti-parts.com....the front grill i painted myself; plain old duplicolor gloss black...pep boys, autozone, or o'reilly's will have everything you need to paint the grill/emblems
