FRP is no different than fiberglass and all fiberglass bumpers are FRP. it is not like polyurethane. when ppl talk of fiberglass bumpers they are talking about FRP which does indeed stand for fiber reinforced plastic or more specifically polymer. The plastic/polymer part of the name refers to the resin used to harden the fiberglass/carbon fiber/aramid resins used are often a polyester or vinyl ester resin which both are a form of plastic. there are many forms of plastic in this world some are flexible some aren't. for example.. lighters are made of plastic, i'd like to see you bend one of those... Hybrid FRP is just a marketing gimmic so that you think it is some new material.

agreed, some frp products are more flexible than others due to the different resin's used but lets not confuse everyone by saying frp is any different than fiberglass and that it is like urethane...

The s2000 bumper that the OP posted a pic of seems to be decently flexible but i have seen much better.

I have both materials in my garage right now and there is a flex not to mention its very light compared to fiberglass.......its laid like fiberglass by hand no need to shoot into a mold like poly, but its a happy medium.

I would also like to say I have seen all three and this method is alot better than fiberglass, trust me it user friendly, very light, flex and it takes to paint very well....

The ones available for G is just horrible.
I thought it was horrible untill I saw it in person.
It looks very nice and aggressive in person.
I just love it so much... Too bad my pocket ain't deep enough.
