hey guys 1st time on g35 driver. i just wanted to know information about window tinting. percentages and such and what you guys thought about it. thanks

5% (limo), then 20%, 35%, 50% are the other basic tints percentages. Any tint on the front windows in most states is illegal, check the thread to see if yours is one of them... I have a black G35 coupe and I have 5% all around except the windshield and its pretty dark only when there is light going in through the windshield can you see inside... driving at night gets kinda hard you have to get used to it but in dark areas when its raining and you have to reverse can be a pain but you do get used to it... I wouldn't go with 20 you might as well just go 5 if you're going to do that... and if you just want a nice dark shade around your windows go with 35... 50 looks dumb imo

 

mine was tinted from the factory, not sure the % but i'm guessing it's around 35% b/c that's what i have on my TL and it seems very similar....

i have 30% 3M tint on the front side windows and 20% 3M tint on the rear (coupe)

do you have coupe or sedan?

i got a 07 g35x sedan. i know getting tints is just another reason for a cop to pull you over. but who the hell cares haha.
