3M Tape Curing Time?

I bought a UT spoiler and want to install it but am a little bit concerned about how long I would have to wait to let the tape cure. I googled it and came up with 24 hrs. Since the g35 is my only means of transportation I was wondering if anyone here has an experience that is different from what the google result of having to wait 24 hrs before driving is.

you should at least wait overnight for it to cure. after a day it's on for good, but I would wait at least 12 hours if you can. just make sure it doesn't get wet for the first few days and try to keep the car parked in a covered spot so dew doesn't form in the morning.

Yeah when they say 24 hours they just mean before you wash it but it should be fine to drive in a few hours.
