I have 35% / 20% why give one more reason for a cop to stop you. but my car is black on black, so it looks darker than it is.

is it really that hard to see at night with 18% ? it shouldnt be a big difference from 20% right? so 20 should be the same =_=

thanks

doesn't it look awkward to have your car different tints? especially if its a coupe?

I used to have 15%...you should have no problems seeing out of it as long as you keep it clean...its tint...not spraypaint.

i think interior color should be a major consideration.... stone interior with XX% tint will look a fair amount lighter than graphite interior with the same tint

btw, anyone have pics of a lakeshore slate coupe with stone interior that has tint? cause i wanna see what different percentages will look like on my coupe

xfuz1on - any tint on the front windows is illegal, just as someone said earlier about Illinois. I have been doing 35% for the past few years, and have only been pulled over once. The cop didn't even give me a fix it to get them taken off I think he just wanted a reason to pull someone over. I think that at 35% you have the safest chance of not getting pulled over because most cops realize that its a stupid law. Sucks though because I personally think that 20% tint is the best looking on any color. I just don't want to personally risk it.

My car is white with stone interior by the way.

I took my tint off because I was sick of getting pulled over. It's just not worth the hassle IMHO.
