Greddy/Top Secret Front Bumper Question

I'm thinking about purchasing either the greddy or top secret front bumper, but I have a couple of questions.

1. Does either one come in urethane? From what I have found on the internet, only the TS replica does, but I would rather not go that route.

2. On the bottom of these bumpers, is there a way for the plastic underpaneling to attach like it does with the stock bumper. This is very important to me because I still want to be able to use the shield and have it attached right and not some half assed way.

3. Oh and which one do you guys like better. I'll eventually go FI down the road with a SC or TT.... can't decide so I'll have an intercooler.

Thanks

come on..... No one else have these bumpers???? I mainly want to know about the bottom under panel. Keeping this imo keeps your engine much cleaner. I've owned cars without this and the difference is huge, I gotta keep it.

NO, only the replica TS does and it takes some time to install CORRECTLY. There isnt a fitment issue with the urethane TS one (I myself, DriftGT, Hexxum, Meechin, Yume, and many many many members) all run this bumper without a problem.. Only issues we've seen is due to poor installation from the tech/owner who installed it.. But no Authentic Greddy and TS are both regular fiberglass.. (I've owned an authentic TS before - see my 05 coupe). Difference between replica and authentic

Authentic TS: Includes hardware and pre made points to install license plate in the duct and is made of fiberglass (white resin).. Fitment is TOP but also requires a good installer.

Urethane Replica (I offer this btw - vendor) is made of poly urethane and takes some time to install 100% but fitment is dead on and the license plate hardware and holes are NOT included..

Fiberglass Replica (Offered by ED) is made of FIBERGLASS IMO you want to stay away from this bumper the fitment is very very poor and will take alot of PREP it does come with some alumin mesh tho.. but the fitment and finish is =\ but great for a project bumper

Authentic Greddy and Replica Greddy are both made of fiberglass (I offer the replica one)..

Yes the TS isnt as low as you think.. No tricks are required to mount the under tray.. all you need to do is drill it on.. if you do run with the fiberglass bumpers i recommed you NOT NOT NOT put on the under chin spoiler.. if you keep hitting that piece u'll eventually cause damage to the bumper / flex the bumper.

The Greddy sits VERY low and but dips back up with some material to allow the undertray to attach (my replica does the same thing)... with this bumper it doesnt matter if you include the chin spoiler or not because the bumper is pretty much the same level as the chin spoiler lol.. probably one of the lowest bumpers made for the g35..

Either way is good.. but you'll have more room to work with if you go with the GREDDY.. the TS (due to its design) doesnt offer as much room as the greddy but alot of people just cut the duct to make their intercooler fit.. most Turbo or TT intercoolers will require this.. Vortech inercooler will take some triming with the replica urethane bumper.

more info.. If you're running the greddy fromt I'd recommend Greddy Sides, Kenstyle Sides, or Impul Sides to keep the car looking leveled.. even with OEM splash guards on the front the greddy is still lower! ._.

TS front will line up fine with OEM sideskirts with splash guards

Thanks, sounds like the TS replica would be my best bet. I didn't know the fitment was that good. I REALLY prefer urethane to fiberglass. I've had experience with both in the past, and try to stay away from fiberglass if possible. Does the TS replica come with a mesh grill or do you have to buy your own? ANd where do you get your TS replicas from? I guess you're a vendor? BTW, pretty sure I'll go Vortech, so I'll have a smaller intercooler. I just want everything to look professional and not half-***.

Thanks

Get your mesh from customautomesh.com if you're getting Eric's TS replica.

^ thanks. I don't know, I think I like the looks of the Greddy a little better and the extra room would be nice, but I'm scared of fiberglass. I like the TS also.... tuff choices

The Greddy bumper is probably the lowest bumper out there. If you're lowered, then you're going to have a difficult time getting around IMO. Add in the fiberglass part and you've got some trouble. Although, it is easier to repair fiberglass, I'm sure you don't wanna hassle with fixing it every time you scrape.
