Clearbra to prevent headlights haze

Everybody knows of the haze that build up in the headlights with the time. My question is whether the 3M Scotchgard Paint Protector (Clear BRA) do really "protect" a new headlight housing from getting haze? Is there anyone that applied it can give some feed back on this?

The kit I got included peices for the headlights and mirrors. It will protect it only if it's on the outside. Sometimes the seal will not hold and water vapor gets in and it must be replaced.

But the film is supposed to be applied on the outside of the headlight housing, right? Why install it in the inside? That makes no sense.

the headlight film is supposed to block out UV light, which is the main cause of yellowing or hazing. i have it on mine, and so far no hazing, but then again my car is always garaged and it's an 05

it does prevent headlight hazing - i've had clear bra on for a few months (almost a year?) and no hazing whatsoever.

I think the headlight are hazy due to the vapors that are coming out of the engine hood.

The hazing on the outside caused by the sun or piting from rocks is prevented by the bra. The hazing inside the light is usually from a broken seal allowing water vapor inside which leads to mold growth. The bra can't do anything for this. You'll need a new light.
