Any IP sedans get this roof overlay?? Pics please? Bat how will these last thru cold weather and eventually scorching hot summer?? Just wondering...

 

ive had my roof overlay on the longest and was the first...its still on there...an diego's been cold lately and its still in great shape...ask people in san diego... ^___^

 

well, just installed mine last night with a buddy of mine. took us a looong time. from 6:30-11 pm. well, it didn't quite turn out very well as i'd thought it would...well i already knew it wouldnt turn out so great. We had alot of trouble on the first piece(passenger side) but the second piece was better (driver side). The 2nd piece looks like looks with the exceptions of a lot of tiny tiny air bubbles or dirt or whatever it is. But the second piece looks like someone did a horrible paint job on the car. its faded, pieces of paper stuck to it (due to my friend's stupidity of wetting the paper b4 removing it from the overlay) and inexperience from both of us.

From far away, looks alright. but close up, crappy. will post pics up soon.

my car was looking extra clean today even if we did do an ok job on the overlay. from far away, it looks bomb!, but close up, u can see what went wrong. are u suppose to let the side with more slack overlap the shorter one? or are we suppose to trip it to match perfectly?

i knew it looked good to others when i went to the nissan dealership, and the salesreps just kept their eyes on my car for like 10 minutes. they got told to stop staring at my car by the floor manager to go do something and to stop staring. lol i'll get pics up after i find my camera. funny thing is, the manager asked me to move my pretty "lexus" bc he didn't want it to get damaged by the tow truck, haha.
