Blacked out OEM grill on a BLACK G... YA or NA?

I recently got my nismo front painted and installed and was debating on leaving the stock oem grill as is or painting it flat black with the chrome infiniti logo in front. Would it look funny being that my car is black alrdy?

I remember seeing someone else that did this but can't remember who. Are you planning on doing the grill flat black or glossy black?

i would say dont paint ur grille black due to lack of contrast, too much blk imo, the silver shine of oem grille would be a nice contrast to the blk exterior of your car & the nismo front

i know its been done but just wanted to hear if ppl think its a good idea or not... some colors are able to pull it off and some just looks out of place.

I think it would look better in a black chrome or gloss black finish

my thoughts exactly, imho blking out ur oem grille looks the best by contrasting it with a lighter color (ip, lp, dg) if you however decide to do it, i'd highly recommend painting it gloss black (vs. matte blk) to go with the shiny blk exterior of the car

I have a gloss black OEM grille on my Black G35 and it looks really nice, I think the car looks better with it painted. Looks really nice tho, I'm going to be switching to a Data systems grille but I think you should paint it, you wont regret it!

it looks fine but do it flat, if you wanna do like a gloss black, dont use that much clear on it... i had it on my coupe for a while, it looks good but i left mt fuji chrome, looked nice...
