Changed cabin air filter, now air bag broke??
Ok, I've never had a problem working on my car until now. I usually do everything myself so I am somewhat mechanically inclined. I changed my in-cabin air filter this weekend and installed a new one from advance auto. Everything seemed ok, until I put everything back together.... now my air bag light on my dash is flashing! This could be just a coincidence, but I highly doubt it. I disconnected the wires that were in the way of taking out the filter, but I reconnected them all I'm sure. I even disconnected the negative battery terminal and reset the ecu after the light was flashing just to see if that might help, but it didn't.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

probably just tripped the airbag sensor. Did you turn the ignition on when you had it unplugged? If you will look at a service manual found here (https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-coupe-v35-2003-07/193674-g35-g37-350z-shop-manual-free.html) you can look at what the airbag code is by checking the timing of the flashing. Alternatively there is a thread that goes over this very thing.

Anyways, hope this helps

Yeah I drove the car somewhere while everything was unpluged, and that's when it started blinking. I just tried the reset procedure and it didn't work. I'm going to try it again. Thanks.
