Car without the 3rd brake lights inside

For guys who bought a Coupe with a spoiler but decided to go with a spoiler delete what did you guys do about the third brake light? I was thinking about not having one at all but it seems like asking to get pulled over. I'll ask the dealership some guy in a couple weeks but wanted to get some ideas on the forum.

Why would you get a ticket? Third brake lights aren't mandated by law. Law states that any lights on vehicle must be working. And since there is no third brake light, then no violation.

In Canada you need a third brake light I believe.

^hey see if you can do a swap with someone here.. I know it sounds kinda weird but a lot of forum guys have extra 3rd brake light because they bought their wing afterwards or dealer installed it.. some even unplugged it reason they dont remove it is because you'll have a hole in its place..

hey I found something through searching!!!

Just curious because Im sort of in the same situation, im trading my trunk to go wingless and I was wondering what the new owner of my OEM wing will have to do to wire it up to his, considering he already has a 3rd brake lamp in his window?

I havent looked at the trunk wing wiring to see if it goes back towards where the center one is so does he have to do something different?

I guess if the wiring is a breeze, he and I could switch out rear deck panels so I can have a 3rd brake lamp again and he wont have a useless light or hole in his?
