CF door project complete!!!FINALLY
It is true that Carbon Fiber is strong... however, CF flexes a lot more than metal. yeah, when you get plowed by a SUV, your door may still somewhat be together, but the bumper of the SUV has already made its way into your rib cage by time its all done.
Take OEM and CF hoods for example. You can take your finger and push the hood in on a cf hood, try that with your aluminum hood.

^ you are mixing wet carbon with dry carbon. All CF hoods that you have seen are wet carbon. They are just overlaid CF with fiberglass core or resin core. True CF is pressured and vacuumed with just CF sheet and EXACT amount of resin. Try flexing that.

im planning on getting CF pillars...possible rear quarters if i can find em..it would be cheaper to replace them it seems...since they want 3k to paint the rest of the car
I like it! good for you, it looks awsome! i have been moding cars since I was 15, and i got my first sentra. I got my first cf hood to shave weight. But cf parts have bean out for years now, and alout of people just like the way they look. I just bought cf hood+trunk, and ya they shave weight but I love the way they look.
As I always think/say - if it does it for you, go for it!!!!
