failing to match ivory pearl on kit
IP is a 3 stage so Im not anywhere near surprised.
They probably go with what they are used to but the key is in how many layers of base vs how many layers of pearl. Paint chips would've saved lots of money.

Car has been gone a month and 1 week because of engine rebuild and body kit install. i feel they should have been able to match it by now. I have my own expectations but at what point would you guys say enough is enough and take it somewhere else? For me this is the last shot I think. Each time it costs at least 3 days although no more money, but I'm ready to take possession.
Sorry to tell you but it's not your job to get it right and unless they don't intend to charge you for work already done, you would have to make them get the work done right. I made the shop i took my car to fix the paint on my BMW 3 times until it was absolutely the right shade.
You will have to accept a fresh paint is brighter. HOWEVER to tell if the paint is off is by where the parts come together by the bumper or the corner panel. If you can accept the difference, then it's okay...
