Ready for JDM rebadging.

Im ready to buy JDM skyline and 350gt emblems, and i just wanted to know if all of them are the ones that are aligned for you and you just peel the back and stick and it will be perfectly straight. I dont want to peel and stick one by one. So how exactly do they work? I see different looking ones on ebay. The one with the blue and one with the black. Can someone tell me which one to buy?

you dont peel and stick the letters 1 by 1...they come already straight..but you have the center the skyline emblems..the 350gt emblem is the easiest to put on..

I don’t know about the JDM, but USDM letters come in a foam stencil type thing that you can use to align... I suggest using a magnetic straight edge to be certain its level.

I've done several rebadging on my car and this has always worked well.

Even if you take your time and eyeball it will probably be fine - no one (other than you) will notice slight/minute area off... but if you’re like me it will bug that crap out of you. So try the stencil/magnetic straight edge approach.

You could take some blue painter's masking tape, lay a line right under the infiniti letters, then take a marker and mark on the tape where the beginning and end of the infiniti letters end. Now debadge the old letters and use the tape line to make them level and the marks to center the new letters. It won't matter if the skyline letters dont line up with the marker marks, just use then as a reference to center your new letters.

Repeat for the 350gt.

I guess it goes without saying that you've used this trick on your car a time or two, but you could try getting a stencil (or make your own) with the 350gt letters on it..then get some acrylic paints and paint "350gt" and "skyline" on your car.

Hope that helps.

If they are real skyline letters they should come with a template... the Nissan and 350GT badges do not
