ahh so i finally got around to gettin mine done total work time over a 3 day span 4 hours of work time and this is what i got done so far

thanks, im currently working on a way to copy the bumps so i can put them to fallow the line of the rest of the grill 2 attempts fail....haha but ill keep trying
the best way to do it is to make a mold of one of the bumps then cast a few copies out of bondo/resin/glue. honestly though, after making the bumps for mine, they really aren't visible at most angles anyway. either way, best of luck to you man - grill looks great!

thanks candlestick, ya...sounds kinda hard im gonna try something different see if i cant make a mold out of something who knows might come up with something great :-) haha

oo and bigc, did u cut out the back of the grill where the emblem was or did u just leave it as is....like so u could see through the whole grill...ya know...?
PM zackt69 about the bumps - he's making molds to patch the holes and may have some ideas about making molds for the bumps.
i didn't cut out the back of the grill at first, but quickly realized it would make life a lot easier (i should have taken Lawrence's advice). its much easier to sand down the back parts of the patch if the back is gone, plus it will be visible unless you paint it black.
