paint, hands down.

while overlays are a cost effective alternative, i'd rather paint my ish.

don't get me wrong, i've had a few overlays on my car - door handles, rear valence, and eyelids.

but i'm having them all replaced by paint. it's just a matter of time.

Stall me out with the whole TC comparison...if you feel the TC looks similar to our G's you should trade yours in, black roof or not... IMO
actually i talked to a couple scion corporate guys when they first came out and they admitted to "borrowing" lines from the g35...

no matter how unique you think your chit is someone will have it soon enough... might as well change your whole color scheme then since alot of people have IP/Gold if you want to be really unique and leave the black roofs to us cheap and easy folks...hahaha

That's true, but in the car show scene you gotta stay one step ahead of everyone to succeed.

c/f roof overlays are a nice concept. but the whole reason i painted my roof black is because it makes the rear window look continuous when tinted dark enough. the c/f roof overlay isn't going to achieve the same effect. provided it will look nice for those c/f ******, it jst depends and what you're looking for.
