Black Grille Opinions/Questions. Come in Please!!

Got an 05 OB 6mt coupe, for those who painted stock grille black...what paint did you use? Any problems with rock chips yet? any help would be great

duplicolor ultra flat black paint. you're gonna get rock chips no matte what. that's why i didnt apply any clear coat, easier to respray, just make sure to sand off as much of the chrome coating as possible before you spray

i used dupli color ultra flat black first without clear as mixturepinoy did but after a couple weeks i decided it needed to be cleared so oi sanded it back down and used dupli color gloss black and dupli color clear as well. no rock chips yet and i have a lead foot.

sweet action! thanks for the comment, btw, where did u get ur paint? price? rock chips are easy to get anyways with this stock paint, kinda disappointed

dido on the lead foot lol. plus theres tons of construction here in tulsa and if your within 50ft of any car in front of you its an auto rock chip/windshield chip. thinking of doing a clear bra but ehh

If this is a stupid question im sorry but what is the enamel for?? so i need flat black, clear, and enamel? along w sandpaper for the chrome stripping.. thanks

i had a body shop paint mine so idk how they did it or what they used... its flat black and no rock chips yet

i payed $50 and they did everything.. sand, prime, paint, and clear

it took about 3 - 4 hours because you need to wait a little while between coats and for it to dry...

K Sounds Good. Plan On Doin It Real Soon. Im Rollin Stock So The Mods Will Start Rolling Soon. Ima Do That And Then Wheels And Then Coilovers. Then Idk. Any Suggestions On Order Of Mods? Recomendations On Any Mods? Thanks
