Cant get the cluster lid finsh off to change clock!!!

Cant get the cluster lid finsh off to change clock!!!

Argh..... i read that u're supposed to:

hold upper portion of lid, and pull lid upward to disengage metal clip. After that pull it your side.


cant do it!! the thing wont budge! should i try to loosen it up wiht a screw driver???

Maybe not a screwdriver... but try wedging a corner (one of the top two) with something

You can use something like a wooden ruler to wedge the four corners up a little bit. That should enable you pop it out of the clips. A screw driver may damage the plastic.

ok i'll try that.

it looks so easy in the picture!!


so all i do is slide it upwards towards the windshield

and then pull it towards yourself right?? i hope thats right..

The first time I took it off I thought I was gona break something... You just gota wedge a corner and yank towards you with some force. I dunno about pulling it up 'cuz the metal clips disengage when I pull it towards the back of the car.
