replica kuruma front bumper
I don't think there is such a thing as a replica KurumaZ for the G coupes.
The fitment is pretty good and it's made of poly, not sure if it gets better than that besides being at a lower price.

from the reviews i've read, it's hit or miss as far as fitment goes on this bumper. it'll either fit very poorly, or pretty good but not perfectly.

its just like our ts front..
poor fitment = lazy installer..
the only reason we have perfect fitting TS fronts running around everywhere is cause I do the installs myself now or I couch customers through the install process
Kuruma fits fine but takes about 3-4 hours to install (at least thats how long it took us the last time we worked on one)

A good fitting bumper should not take that long to install. At least no professionally.
Great looking bumper, though. Very clean!

Kuruma Z Front.. If I were to copy it I'll be selling it at around $550-$500 shipped for that bumper.. its currently priced at $800?.. its not hard for them to bring their price to match $500 considering they've already made back their cost of making a mold and testing.. Also its not an easy piece to make due to its size and shape so I doubt I'll get it right the first time. I'll also have to remake that bumper in fiberglass for me to make a mold out of it.. and lastly.. I like coz and we do some business together so.. no =)
Calvin. shop rates are no where near $90 an hour.. they're around $45 an hour is what they'd list most shop would seperate their labor rates for painters and installers.. This is also the price you pay for having a urethane bumper.. it is flexable and will require more time to install. The same piece can be made in fiberglass and install will take no more then 1 hour to do.. BUT with a bumper this low I'm sure you'll be repaying the cost on repairs to it.

^ because of its shape it doesnt bend or flex like the thinner kuruma or ts..
the size and shape of the ts is x.x.. poly urethane is a plastic cast mold (sort to say) and urethane is injected from one point only.. it must travel throughout the mold and fill before setting.. to do this to a bumper the size of TS or Kuruma the mold is thinner and on some parts of the TS its almost transparent.. then it goes into something that looks like a big steam roller lol..
^ to put the process in simple terms..
