Rear bumper install??
Rear bumper install??
Hey guys the bodyshop put on a new rear bumper for me but the upper tip that is next to the passenger rear light is poking out about a 1/4 inch. Is there adjustments to make it flush if i pull off the light or is it just a bad bumper? There is also a black spot on the very tip that they must have did when sanding, im debating if i should bitch about that too. Thanks for the help

It looks like you are missing the bolt that goes there.
Take a flathead screwdriver and remove the plastic clips that hold the cargo net and the rest of the interior trunk panels on that side and take a look.
You should see 2 10mm bolts (they are gold in color on my 06 coupe) one that's vertical and one that's horizontal.
It looks like you are either missing the horizontal one or it needs to be tightened up.

It's the same as the left most bolt in the big pic above, except on the passenger side.

I would almost bet money that your bolt is not missing... BUT broken off...
I just removed my rear bumper about 10 minutes ago. out of the 4 bolts... 3 broke off... I just got done dilling out the nut things so I can just use a nut and bolt to hold it back on. It will no doubt be a pain in the a$$ but I dont wanna pay the money to order new brackets for each side and new bolts.
