Changing Fogs on 06 Headlights

hey guys i just bought some 06 headlights and i before i install them i want to change the Fogs to the Yellow JDM H1's.

ive tried looking all over the forum and so far the most i have found is how to change the headlights on the 06 but nothing on the fogs. ive only heard people say how difficult it is.

ive looked at it and it looks alot diffrent from changing the lights on the 03's so i jsut wanted to know if its really that difficult and if someone could just please direct me as to how its done. id really appreciate the help

It's the same as changing the 03 Foglight bulbs. It's so much easier to to do when the lamps are off the car.

I think people are reffering to as off how hard it is changing the bulbs when the headlights are on the car.

thanks alot! so i just pull back on that clip and theyll come right off?

which of the JDM lights can anyone recommend me? i was looking into luminics and kept hearing people say that they dont bother with those because they burn out so easy and its such a pain to install them after the lights are on the car

Best to take off wheels. I tried just turning the wheels, but it seem almost impossible.

As for the luminics bulbs, I had their JDM yellow for only 4 months and they are beautiful. However they are not quality, one of the bulbs went out of spec within 4 months and they only have 90 day warranty. Since they are such pain to swap out, I just change to Mtec superwhite. If you stick with yellow, try Piaa yellow or Mtec gold, though these don't look nice as Luminics JDM yellow but saves trouble.

I think its a piece of cake. I can change all my headlight bulbs in a matter of minutes... turn signals, fogs, HIDs & clearance strip with just turning the wheels and jacking the car up a few inches.
